A Capstone Project is an extended assignment that provides students an opportunity to showcase their career and college readiness. Students choose a Capstone Project that summarizes their academic and intellectual interests and experiences in relation to an area of interest. A Capstone Project can be utilized by a district to help students meet Colorado Graduation Guidelines. Capstone projects include demonstrations of the Essential Skills as outlined by the Colorado Department of Education.
